This new Snoopy piece is an homage to the WWI book Snoopy and The Red Baron. Charles Schulz introduced Snoopy as the World War I Flying Ace. Dressed in a leather flying cap, goggles and scarf, Snoopy took to the skies atop of his doghouse. Throughout the years, Snoopy’s dogfights against the elusive and infamous Red Baron, captured readers hearts and imaginations. Part of what made this character so distinctive was the bulls eye seen on many of the American fighter jets.
