This is the new 1970 Automatic Diver's Watch in Modern Re-interpretation, the "New Captain Willard"  Diver SLA051J1, featuring in a dark greyish-textured dial. Seiko's fans have been calling this like model as "Captain Willard", this SLA051J1 model is very similar to the special model , the Naomi Uemura 80th Anniversary Limited Edition (Limited Quantity: 1,200pcs) in memorable to the birth of the great Japanese Explorer.

SLA049J1 Naomi Uemura Special Limited Model is in Blue Dial, highlighted by the mountainous terrain pattern finishing. While this Seiko Prospex SLA051J1 has the exact theme and finishing the SLA049J1 only presented in a different charcoal grey color, and this is not a limited production model. However, both modern "Captains" are carrying the elegancy of the iconic original 1970 Diver's Watch.
