In its quest for sustainability, Bear Grylls challenged Luminox even further by collaborating with Swiss company Tide Ocean SA, utilizing a new upcycled plastic, #tide ocean material. The eco-friendly material provides equal durability and water resistance as CARBONOX. This Survival Master chronograph watch features a 45 mm #tide ocean material case with a yellow textured dial matched with gray, skeletonised obelisk-style hands, Tritium-based luminescent tubes called LLT's that illuminate the watch thru its hands, inside the bezel pip and around the chapter ring which also serve as hour markers together with arrows and Arabic numerals at the 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 o'clock positions. This is complemented by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a uni-directional rotating #tide ocean material bezel with a 60-minute scale with compass markings and a date window at the 6 o'clock position. The three subdials feature a 60-second, 30-minute and 12-hour counters. Touches of white and orange contrast is evident via the dial and bezel markings, main and subdial hands, Luminox shield, crown, compass markings and the Bear Grylls logo between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions. A yellow #tide ocean material textile strap secured by a stainless steel signed buckle completes the tough and sporty look. This watch has a screw down caseback inscribed with Bear Gryll's, Luminox's and #tide's logos surrounded by 'Every Second Counts' and 'Never Give Up' mottos wherein underneath lies the Ronda caliber 5030.D, a Swiss quartz chronograph movement and is water-resistant up to 200 meters/660 feet.
