It is in the famous 30T2 family whose reputation for reliability and accurate timekeeping landed it a role serving the critical timing needs of the world's Armed Forces during World War II. As time progressed Omega upgraded the original 30T2s with additions like a shock protection system, more jewels, and other modifications - as is the case with this watch.
